The Muscatine Community YMCA will be offering American Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguarding Courses.
In order to obtain certification students must attend, actively participate and pass the pre-course swimming skills evaluation prior to the in-person course, successfully complete all eLearning content, successfully participate in all in-person class sessions, demonstrate competency in all required skills, pass both final exams with 80% or better and pass both final skills scenarios.
Certification is valid for 2 years and includes Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
