Course participants must be 15 years of age and be comfortable putting their face in water and have some basic swimming skills.  The course content will help prepare participants for the Lifeguarding Course pre-requisite skills evaluation and help you understand what to expect from the Lifeguarding Course.  Successful participants will also receive a FREE pre-requisite skills evaluation & 50%discount that will apply to future Lifeguarding Courses offered at the Muscatine Community YMCA.  This course will be led by an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor.
